Fairfield Farm College Sports Leaders took part in the ‘Step into Sport’ Leadership Days, last week.  The Sports Leaders presented and delivered to a group of students from Fairfield, Chew Valley, Lavington & St Edmunds, they spoke about why they became sports leaders last year, what they had learnt and what they enjoyed.  They then delivered sitting volleyball workshops and learnt how to organise and officiate Boccia & New Age Kurling to the students attending the event.

The Sports Leaders joined together again with 3 local school to develop and embed their leadership skills.  They learnt how to create inclusive fun activities using the ‘SMILES’ principal.  They worked well with the other groups and participated with enthusiasm and focus.  Well done everyone.
