Fairfield Farm College is excited to support the World Down Syndrome ‘Lots of socks’ Day 2019 which takes place on the 21st March. We will be undertaking this fundraiser in partnership with Swindon Downs Group and Wiltshire Police.
The proceeds from the sock sales will be used for the local Swindon/Wilts Workfit Scheme which provides employment opportunities for people with Down Syndrome in Swindon and Wiltshire.
Students will be selling odd socks at break time next week at £3 per pair. The socks are bright, fun and colourful (I already have three pairs). We would like to encourage students to buy themselves a pair and wear the purchased socks on Thursday 21st March – let’s see how many people at Fairfield can be wearing their odd socks on the day!
