On Thurs 6th June, FFC & Lavington School joined forces again, to plan, organise & deliver the Wilts Rainbow Shower Event. Now in it’s third year, the event, aimed at children with additional needs was more popular than ever! Schools from across Swindon & Wiltshire were all invited to bring a group of children along who would benefit from this fun, fully inclusive event. There was something for everyone!

1) ‘Follow the Rainbow’ Course : students could run, walk, wheel around an accessible marked route. On the way they visited colour stations where the Sports Leaders will gently sprayed the students with soya paint. Everything was bio-degradable & safe.

2) Colourful Parachutes/Bouncing Rainbows/Hula Hoops : this area  involved parachute games, trampettes, hula hoops & paint!

3)The ‘Rainbow Spa’: this separate area will allowed ‘quieter’ students to relax & enjoy the feel of paint & bubbles.
