Fairfield Farm College students visit Wiltshire Police HQ

18th February 2020

Last week a group of students visited Wiltshire Police HQ. Students got to meet police dogs Gunner and Vinnie and some of the police dog handlers and see them in action. Students also got to learn about what happens when you make a 999 or 101 call and visit the control centre to see the call handlers in operation first hand. We watched a film about the different jobs Wiltshire Police do and had a discussion on staying safe online led by PCSO Dodds.

A huge thank you to Roy, Sam, John, Jeremy and all the other staff involved in making us feel so welcome. We look forward to working alongside Wiltshire Police very soon to sell socks for World Down Syndrome Awareness Day 2020.
