British Sign Language Support Worker

Fairfield Farm College is an Independent Specialist College which provides day and residential courses to young people with learning disabilities.
You will have experience of supporting children and/or young people with learning difficulties and in particular, deafness. This post is to support a young deaf person with their study programme through acting as a communication support worker.

Additionally, you will be self-motivated and be able to work independently and prioritise workload. The post reports to the Senior Learning Support. You will work directly with other members of the college management team.

Your holiday entitlement of 10 weeks per annum will be by negotiation and taken in the usual college holiday periods.

There is a pension scheme available for eligible staff.

All staff are required to have a clear DBS check prior to starting work at the college.

Retail Assistant (Post Office Counter Clerk)

Fairfield Farm College is an Independent Specialist College that provides day and Residential courses to young people with learning disabilities based in Dilton Marsh, Westbury. We are looking for someone who will work as a Post Office counter clerk (part of the Post Office team) but who is also willing to lend a hand serving customers and general support in the shop.  Post Office training will be an advantage but we are happy to offer onsite training if you do not have this.

11 hours per week at £8.61 per hour (includes one in three Saturdays).

All staff are required to have a clear DBS check prior to starting work at the college.
