When you work in the café you will learn about preparing food and food hygiene. You will learn about Health and Safety in the kitchen, communication skills and customer care. You will serve behind the counter, take orders from customers, use the till, prepare food and drinks.
Progression and the Future
You will learn to take orders, clear tables and use the dishwasher. You will gain an understanding of environmental health requirements for a business selling food to the public. You will gain confidence in working with members of the public.
