FAIRFIELD CAFE

Serving breakfast, lunch and a delicious selection of homemade treats, Fairfield Cafe is the perfect place for a catch up with friends and family. Enjoy a variety of delicious, hot and cold, freshly prepared meals and refreshments. We cater for all dietary requirements and guarantee you will always find something on our menu to tempt you. We also have a delightful terrace and play area to enjoy when the sun is shining.

CORONAVIRUS FAQ’S

ARE YOU OPEN?

Yes, all our facilities are open. Our Café will be operating with a reduced capacity and various measures in place to ensure we can serve you delicious food and drink safely.

WHAT FOOD AND DRINK ARE YOU SERVING?

We are operating on a reduced menu for the time being, so we can operate our kitchen safely. There will be a selection of hot and cold sandwiches, cakes, sweet treats, and a range of drinks.

CAN I PARK?

Yes, we have ample parking available on-site.

WHAT MEASURES ARE YOU PUTTING IN PLACE FOR THE CAFÉ

We have plenty of signs around the Café, and we politely ask that you adhere to their instructions for the safety of you, your family, and our team.

We also have introduced;

  • Hand sanitisers are available within the Café.
  • We are operating a one way system.
  • We have increased cleaning in various areas of the Café and Toilets.
  • Our staff have received training on COVID-19 prevention methods.
  • We have created an implemented a COVID-19 risk assessment.
  • Some staff may wear masks and visors if they wish to do so.
  • Face masks are not mandatory whilst on-site, but you are welcome to wear them.
WHAT IF FEEL ILL OR HAVE SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19?

If you are showing COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you postpone your visit to us. If you start to experience COVID-19 symptoms during your visit, we ask that you leave the premises and inform a member of staff by phone if possible.

HAVE YOUR OPENING TIMES CHANGED?

Our opening hours remain the same as they were before the closure.

WILL YOU BE TEMPERATURE CHECKING STAFF AND VISITORS.

We will not be checking temperatures, but we do ask to postpone your visit if you feel unwell.

WILL I HAVE TO WEAR A FACE-MASK OR OTHER PROTECTIVE CLOTHING?

This is optional, and you are welcome to do so.

WILL I HAVE TO QUEUE TO ENTER?

Please be prepared to queue, as we only have limited capacities in place with the current Government guidelines.

ARE ALL THE TOILETS OPEN?

Yes, all our toilets are open and will be cleaned regularly.

ARE YOUR PLAY AREAS OPEN?

Yes, our play areas will be open from July 4th, although we do require hand sanitisation before and after using the equipment, and also ask for only 1 adult to accompany a child to any equipment.

FAIRFIELD FARM SHOP

Our Farm Shop remains open, offering fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, cupboard staples and more. We ask that customers remain at least 1 meters away from students, staff members and each-other where possible. 

We are getting daily stock in from our suppliers, and are trying to keep up with the demand, but this cannot be guaranteed.

FAIRFIELD POST OFFICE

Our Post Office offers an array of services to our local community. From posting a parcel through to paying bills and topping up your gas or electric, we are here for you.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Post Office is closed for lunch between 1.00PM and 1.30PM, Monday to Friday.

Play Area

Bring your friends and family for a spot of lunch at our popular Café, and sit outside in the sunshine whilst the children enjoy our play area. 

Animal Walk

Whilst visiting, why not have a wander down the animal path. You’ll see animals such as our miniature pony, lambs, pigs, goats, rabbits, guinea-pigs, chickens and alpacas! Please be aware, that certain animals may be kept indoors if weather is bad or fields need to be rested.
